Our Story
A Legacy Woven in Every Thread
Roopshree began in 1978, with our founder Smt. Roopshree Devi travelling to the dusty lanes of Bhuj and Kutch, seeking out master Bandhej artisans whose families had practiced the craft for centuries. What started as a single trunk of sarees sold from her Jaipur home is today a living archive of color and textile traditions.
Every pattern is rooted in time-honored knots, naturally dyed, and finished with hand-embroidered motifs, representing over 120 artisan families across Gujarat and Rajasthan. We do not chase trends. We handcraft heirlooms.
